The Met’s investigation into offences during protest in central London on 13 September is continuing with officers now appealing for the public’s help to trace a further 18 people. Officers made 24 arrests following several incidents in the Whitehall area linked to the ‘Unite the Kingdom’ protest on Saturday, 13 September. Since the Met’s first appeal to identify 11 people, officers have identified one of those suspects and now want to speak to a further 18 people in connection with a range of public order offences and assaults on emergency workers. The Met is now urging member’s the public to help identify a total of 28 men and women. “We have 28 people we want to speak to in connection with a range of offences – and we are again appealing for the public’s help to track them down.
