Even in the Akron and Houston Christian games, the Cornhuskers struggled with short-yardage situations on offense and defensive line play in general. While the short-yardage problem can be mitigated some by better execution and improving playcalling, I worry about Nebraska’s ability to solve its other major issue: struggling defensive line play.
