All Malaysian citizens with a valid driving license are eligible for the RON95 subsidy, while non-citizens and large companies will not be eligible. The price of RON95 petrol will be reduced from RM2.05 per litre, to RM1.99 per litre for citizens, effective 30 September, through targeted subsidies under the BUDI MADANI RON95 (BUDI95) programme.
