CINCINNATI, Ohio — Former Ohio House Speaker Larry Householder, who was sentenced to 20 years in prison for his role in a bribery scheme, has been transferred to a federal prison in Oklahoma. Householder was recently transferred to the Federal Transfer Center in Oklahoma City. The prison transfer marks the latest chapter in a long and sordid saga for Householder. He was first elected to the Ohio House of Representatives in 2010 and rose to become speaker in 2019. However, he was forced to resign from his position in 2020 after the bribery scheme was exposed.
