SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio — A 56-year-old Lucasville man has been charged with two counts of first-degree felony rape after a home health care client reported a sexual assault.
The Scioto County Sheriff’s Office was alerted on Friday, September 15, 2023, by a supervisor from a home health care company.
Jodi Conkel, in collaboration with the Scioto County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victim Unit, led the inquiry into the alleged assault.
Sheriff David Thoroughman stated that detectives located the suspect, identified as Ronald R. Pace of State Route 104 Lucasville, Ohio, at a residence in Rosemount.
Pace was held at the Scioto County Jail with a bond set at $200,000.
