Abby Elaine Dunn, of Tallahassee, Fla., was shot Friday while visiting her elderly parents in Dickerson. She was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy. Results of the autopsy are pending, and no charges have been filed at this time, according to Montgomery County police. When they arrived, they found Dunn, 55, in an upstairs bedroom suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to her thigh. According to a funeral notice, Dunn was born in Washington, D.C., and raised in Dickerson.
