A 16-year-old boy was fatally struck by a driver Sunday night in Kensington, according to the Montgomery County Police Department. The teen was pronounced dead at the scene. Around 9:15 p.m. Sunday, police and fire rescue personnel got a call for a pedestrian struck in the 3500 block of University Boulevard West near Kensington Heights Park. The driver, who was in a white Nissan Murano, stayed on the scene. The road was shut down Sunday night on University Boulevard between Hobson and St. Paul streets, according to police.
