The 17 Annual SevathonThe India Community Center (ICC) announced its 17th Annual Sevathon event, scheduled to take place on September 28 at Baylands Park, Sunnyvale. This unique family-friendly fundraising event invites participants of all ages and fitness levels to stay active and serve as catalysts for positive community change. From the Sanskrit word “Seva” meaning service, Sevathon is the umbrella where multiplenonprofits participate to fundraise for their cause, bridging nonprofit organizations withcommunity participants. “When participants register and select their nonprofit, they directly help that organization fundraise,” said Lakshmi Ravi, Event Chairperson. “Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or starting your fitness journey, Sevathon offers challenges for all levels while fostering incredible community spirit,” said Ravi.
