Following comments on Facebook, there seem to be continuing issues with regard to unstable Internet routes to the Falkland Islands since the November 25th planned outage. It was announced that Sure Falkland Islands that there would be a planned outage on Monday 25th November from 02:00 to 06:00 to start upgrading the satellite link as part of the work to double the satellite capacity in December. Much later in the day, Sure Falkland Islands posted the following messages on Facebook but had been asking Falkland Islands Radio Service (FIRS) to transmit apology messages.
