Birmingham-based waste management and recycling company Bloomfield Resources has invested £600,00) in a new UNTHA XR3000C mobile shredder as part of its plan to eliminate landfill waste disposal.
The machine is designed to handle Bloomfield’s permitted 150,000 tonnes of non-hazardous waste per year, with the aim of improving process efficiency and raising material recovery rates.
The shredder will process a diverse range of material streams, including commercial and industrial (C&I), municipal solid waste (MSW), and bulky waste streams, aiming to both improve throughput and increase resource yield.
Bloomfield’s zero-to-landfill commitment is playing a big part in this dialogue, and we’re proud to see an UNTHA shredder at the heart of its operations.
We look forward to expanding its process together.”Bloomfield Resources has also confirmed plans to integrate a second UNTHA machine into its operations.
