Recently, I’ve talked about the importance of maintaining balance in all things, about Jesus’ two great commandments — love God and love your neighbor — and about the interlinked concepts of sin and repentance. I want to hear everyone’s voice — I tell them that, too — but I don’t want to hear anybody’s voice so often and so loudly that the other voices don’t have a chance. St. Peter: “All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.’”
