The North Carolina State Board of Elections is a bipartisan, five-member board appointed by state leaders to administer elections fairly and in accordance with the law. The board’s recent meetings have even drawn the attention of powerful congressmen such as Rep. Jim Jordan and Rep. Bryan Steil, who launched a probe into the state board, requesting numerous documents and claiming the board’s majority had “succumbed to the demands of Democrat organizations who repeatedly pressured the (Board) to deny these petitions.”
