Show FullscreenDENMARK: National passenger train operator DSB has signed a DKr1·9bn contract for the construction of a rolling stock maintenance depot at Vinge as part of the project to convert København’s S-bane suburban rail network to GoA4 fully automatic unattended operation. The lead contractor is MT Højgaard Danmark, which was named preferred bidder in June and announced the signing of the contract on September 1. It will work with Artelia, Holm & Grut architects, MJ Eriksson, Siemens, Thing Brandt Landskab and Systra. DSB has structured the depot project in a way that allows for early involvement of the contractor, consultant and architect. A design phase is to run from 2025 to 2028, to be followed by the turnkey construction phase running to 2031.
