By Lauren BurkeCongressman Al Green (D-TX) has filed articles of impeachment against President Trump. Rep. Green, 77, has served in Congress since 2005. President Trump is the only President who has been impeached twice by the U.S. House of Representatives. President Trump was impeached on December 18, 2019, for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. After the incident, Republicans who control the U.S. House considered sanctioning Rep. Green, but they did not complete an action against him.
