Footage of the Royal Mail sorting office in Llandudno, appearing to show large amounts of undelivered post, was shared with Janet Finch-Saunders, MS for Aberconwy. Royal Mail has apologised to customers affected by delays, saying the unit has been hit by high levels of sick absence. A Royal Mail spokesperson said: “We are sorry to customers in Llandudno who have experienced delays. Royal Mail was asked by the Pioneer to comment specifically on the appointment of the new manager, but no additional statement was given.
