The province is projecting the biggest deficit in Nova Scotia’s history.
That’s up from a projected deficit of $697 million when the budget was tabled in February.
Lohr says the shortfall won’t affect the government’s spending plans, at least for now.
Meanwhile, the province is reporting a surplus of $264.8 million for the 2024-25 fiscal year.
That’s up from a projected deficit of $467.4 million.
