Heavy downpours on the Saturday sparked a few last minute changes to the event, but overall feedback from attendees was positive - whether they were first timers or thrilled to have the event back in North Wales. Wales Comic Con began more than ten years ago at Wrexham's Glyndwr University, growing to one of the biggest geek culture events in the UK. On September 20 and 21, the event returned to North Wales at the impressive Llangollen Pavilion. There were stalls from local creators and traders, including North Wales comic publishers Hellbound Media and Afterlight Comics.
