For current Duke doctoral students with a deep interest in global health, the Global Health Doctoral Scholars program offers research grants to support fieldwork activities engaging the social, economic and cultural context of global health while conducting innovative research impacting health equity and expanding your professional skills and opportunities. In addition to funding support, scholars will have the opportunity for engagement with peers and global health leaders through participation in the annual Global Health Showcase, lunch seminars, leading professional development workshops and participating in panel discussions. Funds must be in support of activities and projects already approved by your doctoral program and must be utilized within 12 months of receiving the grant.
