Based on Russell Road, the Halifax branch is one of more than 100 Lloyds Banking Group branches to be shutting this month. A Lloyds spokesperson confirmed to the Journal that today is its final day of business. A Halifax spokesperson said: “As many customers now choose to bank through their app or online, visits to our Rhyl branch have fallen over recent years. “The local Post Office offers everyday banking, customers can also manage their money through our app, online, by calling us or in person in our nearby Lloyds Rhyl branch.”
