“We then received a report of a number of tools reportedly taken from two vans in the Ballynamona Road area of Newry. “We are also investigating another report of theft of tools taken from a garage in the Carrickbroad Road area, believed to have taken place between 8 pm on Friday and 8 am on Saturday.” Detective Sergeant Lewis continues, “Police then received two reports of two males acting suspiciously at two addresses in the Ballynamona Road area, between 3.30 am and 4 am on Saturday morning.
