The Electoral Commission has announced changes to the schedule for the display of the National Voters Register and Registers for Special Interest Groups (SIGs) in preparation for the upcoming 2025/2026 General Elections. Originally set to begin on April 17 and run through May 8, 2025, the display of the National Voters Register will now commence on April 25 and conclude on May 15, 2025. The Electoral Commission, citing its constitutional and legal mandate under Article 61(1)(e) of the 1995 Constitution and the Electoral Commission Act (Cap 176), urged all stakeholders to actively participate in the updated display exercises.
