March 2, 1943 - September 9, 2025 Funeral Service for Betty Lou Howerton, age 82, of Enid, will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 15, 2025, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home, with Reverend Jim Edmison officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the funeral home. Service arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory. Betty was born on March 2, 1943, in Enid to William and Beulah (Noland) Gerhard, and passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, in Enid. Betty worked at St. Mary's Hospital for 31 years. She was baptized and a long-time member of Davis Park Christian Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed singing in the church choir and playing and practicing songs on her keyboard. Betty was known for never missing sending a birthday or Christmas card every year. Betty is preceded in death by her parents; four siblings, Bill Gerhard, Gloria Gerhard, Donna Heffron, and Janice Rork. She is survived by two sons, Edward Wilson, Joseph Wilson and wife Yayoi; two brothers, Bob, and Dennis Gerhard; four grandchildren, Joseph Wilson Jr., Andrew Wilson, Mathew Wilson, and Jacey Wilson; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
