WEST FARGO — This year's Big Iron Farm & Construction Show drew a record crowd of 78,000 attendees. The Red River Valley Fair Association announced the record attendance on Tuesday, Sept. 16. Big Iron has been held at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds for about 20 years. “Even with a downturn in the ag economy, farmers showed up in record numbers not only to support our over 900 vendors but also to promote the Big Iron itself,” said Cody Cashman, CEO of the Red River Valley Fair Association, in a statement.
