ROCHESTER, Minn. — The seventh growing season by immigrant farmers with the Village Agricultural Cooperative will be capped by its annual celebration market, F.A.R.M. "We were looking for ways to showcase local food through art to help raise awareness about the importance of buying local." While there have been a few slow Sundays at the new Village market, Lee is a voice of encouragement. "We've had a lot of good times together, doing some good community building work," she said of the markets at the history center. The growth of that market gives her optimism that the market in northeast Rochester will improve in vendors and customers over time.
