- Kicking off this week of volleyball, the Holcomb Hornets traveled to face off against the Kennett Indians in a four-set battle. They eventually grabbed a close 25-22 first set win, riding behind the offensive efforts of Tayja Carter and Olivia Raspberry. Despite grabbing some relief there, Holcomb came and mounted another seven-point lead in the second set. Raspberry, already holding the hot hand in the previous two sets, picked up the pace even more for Kennett. This loss for Holcomb snapped a six-game win streak, as they move to 12-4 on the year.
