We're delighted to announce that we'll be publishing a special issue in Autumn 2022 focusing on Taiwan fiction and poetry. Arising from a recent symposium at the University of Leeds, we'll be featuring stories by Yang Shuangzi, who's well known for her time-travelling yuri (girls love) fiction, and Chi Ta-wei, whose novel The Membranes (translated by Ari Larissa Heinrich) has been gaining rave reviews, as well as poetry by Salizan Takisvilainan, who explores his Bunun identity in his work.
