The recent stabbing of a jogger in Washington, DC named Wendy K. Martinez, 35, had many locals shocked, and it immediately prompted an investigation into the possible motives of the suspected killer 23-year-old Anthony Marquell Crawford. Authorities are still trying to determine if the attack was premeditated, or if Martinez simply found herself in the wrong place at the wrong time, in the presence of someone out of their mind on drugs. The slain DC jogger was laid to rest on Tuesday, one week after the murder, in West Palm Beach, Florida wearing the reception gown she had brought for her wedding to Daniel Hincapie, who had proposed a few days before her death.
