Settle College students are organising the tournament, which aims to get youngsters interested in the sport, for year five and six primary schoolchildren - ages nine to 11 years old -with the event due to take place on Wednesday, October 8. "The event aims to increase participation in netball amongst the younger children. It also aims to provide them with a fun and enjoyable day surrounded by other children. Each school is aiming to bring two teams to the event meaning we unfortunately cannot have any spectators on the day," said one of the student organisers.
