['Lesley Tate']
Craven Herald | News
The Hellifield Community Pub Group says it has not given up on its bid to buy the Black Horse, which has been closed since February last year, and is considering its next steps after the charity said it was looking into splitting the site.
In July the group, a registered Community Benefit Society, launched a community share offer and received pledges of £200,200 within a month.
Plans are believed to include the possible retention of the pub with some of the land sold for potential housing.
A spokesperson for the Hellifield Community Pub Group, said: "The Poor Lands Trust has confirmed that they have rejected the offer we submitted on September2.
The Craven Herald has approached the Poor's Land trust for a comment.
