ROCHESTER — As autumn approaches, updated COVID-19 vaccines, along with their annual influenza counterparts, are becoming available. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Aug. 27 approved the 2025 COVID vaccines for all adults age 65 and older. Hommerding said his pharmacy already has flu shots available, and COVID vaccines will be available within the next two weeks. Walgreens spokesperson Brigid Sweeney told the Post Bulletin that its Minnesota locations are now administering COVID vaccines. The FDA's latest COVID vaccine approval is not the only change that has occurred under President Donald Trump's second administration.
