We have other articles like Lily Hu in that same part of the issue looking at the power relations and who gets to shape Technology Ethics and how Technology Ethics might be, in some ways, falling into similar traps as human rights did during the 20th century of presenting a certain backstop against certain harms and a certain language for ethical discourse, but ultimately failing to confront some of the deeper issues of power and the trajectory of the political economy. And so that's the idea of what I propose as a way of thinking about what Technology Ethics looks like in practice and how we can both try to pursue more ethical and just technologies while bringing a critical lens into what often happens in practice.
