Now, that doesn't mean that it's the worst that anybody has experienced, I know many women of color have endured far, far worse, but it was a wake up call for me because I had been at the same time doing some research at the Wilson Center about women in politics enduring similar abuse and gender disinformation campaigns, and had previously done some research about how Russia in particular uses such campaigns against women in democratizing societies.
