And the moment you download this apps, that's where everything goes down because immediately after downloading the app, you get a notification with terms of service saying that the app will have access to a lot of your private information on your phone. So at the beginning of the year, this collective that helps victims of crime here in Mexico released a statement saying that there were 130 apps that they had received reports on from victims saying that these apps were extorting them. Google changed its own policies so these loan apps wouldn't be able to upload their apps if they violated these policies.
