The very large online platforms and search engines, a large part, certainly not the only part of the biased tier of requirements in the Digital Services Act, but a substantial part of it, is a requirement for these services to conduct systemic risk assessments, mitigate those risks, and be audited for how they are implementing the act as a whole, including those risk assessments and mitigations. So civil society could inform the risk assessments, but civil society wasn't really informed about what the risk assessments looked like.
