Morrisville mayor TJ Cawley gaveled the September 9 town council meeting into session at precisely 6 p.m. To his left, mayor pro tempore Satish Garimella and council members Steve Rao and Anne Robotti. But the dividing lines on Morrisville’s all-Democrat town council aren’t partisan. Cawley was elected mayor in 2017 after one term as a council member, unseating Republican mayor Mark Stohlman. Later, he decided to run for town council after successfully lobbying the body to approve a new park in his neighborhood.
