Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service was on scene with a seriously injured adult woman. A vehicle was traveling eastbound when it veered onto the shoulder and struck the woman, who was waiting at a bus stop. Police say the driver of the vehicle was not injured and remained on scene. On Sept. 18, the 49-year-old woman succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.
