Jonesville, VA – Lee County Commonwealth’s Attorney H. Fuller Cridlin announced on Friday, January 17, 2025, that Christopher Brown of Pennington Gap, Virginia, has been sentenced to 10 years of active incarceration for the distribution of fentanyl, possessing a firearm as a convicted felon, and possessing a firearm while in possession of a controlled substance. According to Cridlin, the Commonwealth established that between March 1 and March 7, 2023, Brown distributed fentanyl on three separate occasions, and on one occasion, was in possession of a firearm while trafficking the controlled substance.
