Ayer - Carol Lee (Dahlborg) Hazard of Ayer, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully early Thursday morning August 7th, 2025. She is survived by a brother John Peter Dahlborg and 2 sons Gregory Hazard and C. Burton Hazard. She was born December 29, 1937and lived in Brockton, MA where she graduated from Brockton High School in 1955 and Mt Ida College in1957. She was the daughter of Carl and Mary Dahlborg. For many years she worked as a Librarian and then as a shop keeper and finally found her passion as an antique and doll collector-dealer. Carol enjoyed singing from high school Glee Club to local choral groups. One could often hear her singing along to the radio. She lived for many years in the Newburyport area where she enjoyed trips to Plum Island to walk along the dunes and collect sea shells. Her pets; dogs, cats and even a parakeet were spoiled but well loved. Carol will be laid to rest with her parents and family in the Melrose Cemetery in Brockton, MA. In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting making a donation to The Cat Connection shelter(https://thecatconnection.org/) in Carol's name.
