Naples - Onalee Ann Schell Cooke, 89, passed away peacefully in Hospice on July 14, 2025 in Naples, FL (formerly residing in Marco Island, FL, Newburyport and Manchester, MA). She was preceded in death by her husband, famed Muppets illustrator, Thomas I. Cooke and her sister Susan H. Burton. Onalee and her loving husband Tom were married over 50 years, wintered in Bermuda, traveled many times to Switzerland and throughout Europe. She was blessed with a vibrant and exciting life that was full of love, adventures, art, music, fashion, floral design and gourmet cooking. She is survived by her two sons, Scott (Denise Dimbath) of Marco Island, FL and Todd (Melanie) of Baton Rouge, LA. She leaves behind her grandchildren Cameron (Melissa), Christopher (Kelsey), Kaitlyn (Micah McHugh), Kelsey Cooke, and four great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Onalee's caregiver and friend Jeanette "Punky" MacDowell and the wonderful staff at Tuscany Villa in Naples, FL. A memorial service will be held Saturday October 4 at 1 p.m. at the Central Congregational Church, 14 Titcomb Street, Newburyport, MA.
