CelcomDigi Berhad (CelcomDigi), through its Innovation Centre, has entered a landmark collaboration with key government authorities to develop Malaysia’s first AI-powered traffic intelligence platform. The initiative brings together MyDigital Corporation (MyDigital), Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB) and Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ). The solution will be piloted in several locations within the Damansara constituency of Petaling Jaya, including PJ Sentral, SS2, and stretches along the Damansara–Puchong Expressway (LDP). He said, “This collaboration exemplifies the power of partnerships in driving Malaysia’s smart city agenda. CelcomDigi and its partners aim to expand 5G-enabled AI traffic solutions to other major cities across Malaysia, creating an integrated digital ecosystem for intelligent transportation nationwide.
