MediaTek has launched its most powerful mobile platform to date, the Dimensity 9500, a chipset built to advance on-device artificial intelligence, console-grade gaming, and energy efficiency in premium 5G smartphones. The Dimensity 9500 introduces a third-generation All Big Core CPU with a 4.21GHz ultra core, three premium cores, and four performance cores. The ninth-generation MediaTek NPU 990 with Generative AI Engine 2.0 also reduces AI power use by up to 25 per cent, and always-on small models consume over 40 per cent less power. For gamers, the Arm G1-Ultra GPU delivers up to 33 per cent higher peak performance and 42 per cent improved efficiency. MediaTek stressed that the Dimensity 9500 is the result of years of investment in technology and partnerships.
