From January to June, international beef sales generated $7.2 billion in revenue—up 27% from the first half of 2024, based on Secex data.
The gain reflects a 12.5% rise in export volume and a 12.7% increase in the average price per tonne.
From June 30 to July 15, wholesale beef carcass values in Greater São Paulo dropped 4.85%, averaging BRL 20.97/kg on July 15.
Over the same period, the CEPEA/ESALQ Index for fed cattle in São Paulo State fell 5.29% to BRL 300.60.
