The MCU timeline has had enough alien/superhero/multiverse events by now to generate a whole black market industry for the detritus of the battles. It seems likely that the Smithsonian would have a specific museum dedicated to that sort of thing by now - if only to limit the number of buildings requiring extremely non-standard security and suppression systems.
