According to a ministry official, the Czech government’s approach to Myanmar has not changed, refuting the claims made in a Myanmar Witness report, published on 8 September. The aircraft delivered are in civilian configuration without any modification which could be considered as military. Research NGO Myanmar Witness claimed in a report entitled: “Tracing flights: Has a Czech company supplied aircraft to the Myanmar Air Force?”, that they have documented evidence suggesting that Czech Let Aircraft Industries, part of Omnipol, may have supplied the Myanmar Air Force (MAF) with three Let L-410 UNVP-E20 aircraft. Then, two additional aircraft, OK-AMJ (serial number 3418) and OK-AMK (serial number 3419), followed a similar journey the following year. Tracking data recorded OK-AMJ (serial number 3418) departing on 9 June 2025, and OK-AMK (serial number 3419) leaving Kunovice airport on 8 July 2025.
