Passed away peacefully at The Elliott Community in his 97th year on Friday, May 5, 2023. Agostino is now with his beloved wife Anna Maria Vidotto (nee Campagnol). He was the dear father of Sergio and his wife Connie of Port Elgin, Doriana and her husband Charles (Chuck) of Guelph and Maurice (Moe) and his wife Moira of Guelph. Agostino was the cherished grandfather of seven grandchildren: Christine, Robert, Carla (John), Julia, Dan (Pelin), Rebecca, and Clara (Ryan) and the proud great grandfather of Anna and Alice. He is survived by his sister Anna and was predeceased by his parents Agostino and Pasqualina and his sister Anacleta, all of Italy. He will be greatly missed by all. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph on Monday, May 15, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Parish, 175 Emma Street, Guelph on Monday, May 15, 2023, at 11:00 a.m with Father Vernon Boyd officiating. Entombment to follow at Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Ontario or to St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
