It is with profound sorrow that the family of Patrica Ann Northmore (Walker) announce that she was called home on May 24, 2023, with her family by her side at Andy's House in Port Carling Ontario. Pat was a cherished wife to Scott for 65 years and dear mother to Kim (John), Scott (Sandy), Mike (Deb), and Ken (Jackie). She was so hi proud of her grandchildren- Damien, Eve (Scott) Jessie (Ramsey), Nicki (Jon), Darcy (Tania), Natalie (Tyler), Caleb (Ada), Sydney (Sam) Natalie, Brianna (Garrett), Simon (Camryn) and Morgan and much adored GG to Desmond, Arnie, Kasey, Lily, Hunter, Deacon, Kolton, Isabella, and Eli. Pat is pre-deceased by her parents Margaret and Allan Walker and is survived by her sisters Joan (Bill) Hadley, Janice Mitchell, and Donna (Bob) Chapman. Pat devoted her life to caring. She received her Nursing Pin from Guelph General Hospital School of Nursing in 1957 and worked in the private nursing field in Guelph for several years following her marriage to Scott Nelson Northmore in 1958. In 1970 the young couple and their 4 children moved to Muskoka where Pat worked as a nurse at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge for over 25 years. After retirement she continued to provide caring support through volunteer work with seniors and to many friends and family. Those of us who sleep under beautiful quilts or wear her knitted socks or have woven tapestries hanging in our homes will carry the memory of her kindness forever. Visitation was held on June 2, 2023, at Reynolds Funeral Home at 1 Mary Street, Bracebridge, followed with interment at Bracebridge Municipal Cemetery. We are eternally grateful for her, for such a lovely soul to have been the center of our lives. She truly lived the words of 1 Corinthians 13.
