Theodore Carlton "Carl" Brooks Jr., 34, of Homestead, FL, passed away peacefully after a lifelong struggle with severe epilepsy. Carl is survived by his mother, Dr. Nita Lewis (formerly of Guelph), his father, Dr. Theodore Brooks Sr., his sister, Riesa Lewis (Dr. Jonathan Armstrong), his aunt Patricia Lewis of Guelph, and Canadian cousins, Logan, Elana, Victoria, and Bradley Lewis. Carl was predeceased by his grandparents, Donald and Gladys "Kelley" Lewis, of Guelph, and his uncle Calvin Lewis. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor his special memory.
