It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Francis Joseph Goodden on June 26, 2023, at Grand River Hospital, Freeport Campus at the age of 63. Francis suffered a tragic accident in April that left him paralyzed and his body finally gave up in spite of his magnificent spirit. He will be sorely missed by his siblings and their spouses: Mary Torti, sister (Carlo Torti husband), Annie Goodden, sister (Clive Ord husband), John Goodden, brother (Linda Goodden wife), and Rosemary Talbot, sister (Doug Talbot husband). His loving presence will also be missed by his nieces and nephews: Mike and Corina Henriques and their children Isabella and Arya, Caroline and Fabio Buritica and their child Nova, Andrew and Tess Torti and their children Willa, Sybil, and Tatum, and also Adam and Abigail Talbot. Predeceased by his parents John and Eduarda Goodden, and his nephew Paul Henriques. Of course, his friends and extended family will deeply mourn his loss, as well. You all know who you are and bless you for your kindnesses over the years. Fran will be missed by all his friends, extended family, and the whole commu-nity of the Guelph Country Club where he earned great love and respect from all.
