Robert 'David" Crowe, 67, of Collingwood, Ontario, passed away unexpectedly on July 18, 2023. He was born in Guelph, Ontario, on August 21, 1956. Dave attended Guelph Colle-giate Vocational Institute and was employed at Crowe Foundry, Cambridge Ontario. Dave is survived by spouse Leisa Burton, Collingwood; his two sons from previous marriage (Paula Fontinato) and his two stepchildren; son Robert Crowe, Guelph; son Michael Crowe (Alex Plante-Crowe), Vancouver, British Columbia; stepson Trevor Burton (Amy), Pemberton, British Columbia; step-daughter Jennifer Rowsell (Blake), Squamish, British Columbia. Grandchildren: gran-dson Remi Plante-Crowe (2) (Michael and Alex); grand-daughters Drea (14) and Cecelia Burton (11) (Trevor and Amy); and grandsons Clark (6) and Roy Rowsell (5) (Jennie and Blake). He is also survived by sisters Margaret Mizen (Wayne) and Helen Moore (Sterling), and brother Eric Crowe (Michelle). Dave was predeceased by parents Robert and Bernice Crowe, sister Kathy Promoli, brothers-in-law Mike Promoli (Kathy) and Jim McNally (Helen). Big Dave had an enormous heart, a wonderful sense of humor and a commanding voice. He loved skiing, fishing, family, making wine and food and socializing with everyone. A celebration of life will be held Friday, November 10, 2023, at Osler Bluff Ski Club, Collingwood, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, please send your donations to the Collingwood Marine Hospital.
