Passed away with his wife and his family by his side at Winston Park LTC in Kitchener on August 25, 2023, after a battle with cancer at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Sandra "Sandy" Mercer-Macerollo for 25 years. Loving dad of Brandi, Tara, Aaron, and loving stepdad of Jaclynn (Brent), Bob (Amy), and Ryan. Dear Papa Jerry of Steven, Alexis, Brooklyn, Addisyn, Lennox, and Maxim, and dear Step-Papa of Cameron, Ben, Luke, and Jack. Cherished Great-Papa of three great-grand-children. Survived by his siblings Diane Partridge, Mark (Julie) Macerollo, and Donna (Dean) Graff, sisters-in-law Ruth Ann (Allen) Stevenson, Carolyn Cowley, brother-in-law Leonard (Mary) McClounie, and father-in-law Ron (Denise) Wylie. He's predeceased by his parents Mario and Vella Macerollo, his brother Johnny Macerollo, and Sandy's parents Doug and Jean McClounie-Wylie. He will also be missed by nieces, nephews, and extended fam-ily. Jerry was the first Master Breeder of the Canadian Fan Tail Club in 1983. Jerry was a proud employee of Owens Corning for 46 years. Jerry's family will receive relatives and friends for a celebration of life at 1:00 p.m. at the Italian-Canadian Club (135 Ferguson St., Guelph, ON) on Saturday, September 16, 2023, followed by a late luncheon.
